Craft Show!! Thanks Mom!

Whew! Where does the time go?? I am sitting here, good into the evening and still in my pyjamas, trying to sort through some ideas that I had for some Christmas ornaments. I got up early, had my coffee, and decided to start experimenting with masking tape and mirrors. Since then, even though it seems it has only been an hour, I have come up with some pretty cool, little ornaments. When I have finished them, I will post some pictures.

You may be asking yourself, "What is the rush to get these ornaments done. She didn't even have time to get dressed today?" Well, thanks to my crafty and brilliant mom, I am going to be able to enter some of my stuff in a Christmas Sale/Craft Show that will be happening the weekend of November 30th in Jacksonville, Florida. As I don't have any Christmas-friendly items ready, I am in a mad rush to get something done...I am sure a lot of you are in the same boat! Well, back to the 'drawing table.' I wish everyone good luck with the holiday season already off to a busy start!

My Blog!!!

After a lot of avoidance, I have decided to start a blog. It is not that I am against blogging, it is just that the thought of blogging was too overwhelming to even begin to think about the concept. After some deliberation, however, I thought that perhaps there are some interesting things that I can share with willing readers. I am a reluctant artist (photographer, mixed media, altered art) who has just began to accept that people enjoy what I do. I have posted a link to my Etsy store and would love to hear feedback and suggestions. I also encourage everyone to browse the other stores on Etsy. With the holidays coming up, there are many gift options, and it is a great way to support a struggling artist!

I will be posting how-to blogs and links to other interesting links. I hope you will enjoy what I have to say, and perhaps even feel the need to share your own thoughts! I would love to hear what you have to say.
